Safeguarding

We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students.

We endeavour to provide safe and welcoming environments where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

Security of students, staff and visitors:

All members of staff will wear photo identity badges at all times.

All visitors should report to the school on arrival and sign in on the electronic signing in system.  Visitors will be issued with a lanyard which must be worn at all times.

If you have any concerns you must ensure that this information is passed to a Designate Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at the individual school.  You can ask the school office to locate a DSL.  You should not discuss the concern with anyone else other than a DSL.

Creating Tomorrow MAT expects all staff and visitors to:
  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity
  • Promote and model safe behaviour.

We all have the right to feel safe all of the time;
We can talk with someone about anything even if it feels awful or small.

If as a visitor, you have any concerns you must ensure that this information is passed to a Designate Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at the individual school.  You can ask the school office to locate a DSL.  You should not discuss the concern with anyone else other than a DSL.

If you have any concerns about any member of staff, this should be reported to the Headteacher directly - Please ask the school office to locate them or give you their contact details

If the concern is about the Headteacher, please report this to the Chair of Governors - Please ask the school office for their contact details.

Don’t think "What if I am wrong?" …… think "What if I’m right!"

Everyone has a responsibility to make sure that all students are safe, because ‘Every Child Matters’.
